Once again a poor show by the chennai superkings. Don’t have a good bowling lineup. Poor show from fleming continously. Its better for him to quit from this game. One more culprit is Ghoniiiiiiiii…….. worth for nothing….. Chennai has to be carefull in the forthcoming games as it will be very crucial for them to enter semifinals.

great work by chennai superking management. i dont know wat kepler vesle is doing. wats the use of badrinath in team when u dont know to utilise him. i seen all the matches he never gets a chances still he is doing is best. even today why kapugedra came before badrinath. its clearly politics if we lose today dhoni is to be blamed i am serious . pls take my comment seriously

FURHTER I MUST SAY ALL THE GAME WERE REMAIN CLOSE AND MORE COMPETITIVE TO WATCH, IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO PREDICT THAT WHO WILL BE IN THE SEMIS OR IN THE FINAL, BUT TO MY MIND VERY CLOSE TIE AGAIN BETWEEN THE THE TWO FINALISTS OF LAST YEAR FINAL & kINGS ELEVEN PUNJAB WILL ALSO A BIG THREAT TO ALL THE PARTICIPATING TEAMS. The CSK team is da best da. i live in Mumbai but am TAMILIAN……the team rocks. Just Badri must be used properly enough. he is a great bat n stunning lightning quick fielder. Morkel, Oram, Haydos n Murali rock. Flintoff is just extra. Oram is 10X better. Goood he is injured.
Badrinath has to be sacked. he is not fit for playing in any team .hell to his cricket. please bring some other talented person

I am a diehard fan of chennai super kings.Now tat we we hav lost to deccan charges.V hav only 9 matches 2 go.out of which v hav 2 win 6 matches 2 b placed in the top4. To achieve it v need 2 do some changes in the team. If u c our bowling attack it is more a monotonous attack.Almost everyone is a medium pacers except murali. In this tournament, so far only slow bowlers(spinners) and xtrmely fast bowlers have only succeeded. Take any team Deccan(Edwards) Kolkatta(Ishanth) Mumbai(Malinga) have fast bowlers at the top. Then spinners like Deccan(Ohja) Delhi(vettori) Mumbai(Harbhajan) does the rest. All these spinners also have one more spinner in their team to give the balance. In our team only yesterday we tried with Suresh Raina and it worked out well. But we need a regular spinner along with Murali. Coming to the batting lineup it has become more like an one man show by Haydos. Others are not consistent. If u take our batting Haydos,Patel,Raina,Oram,Morkel are all lefthanders. Again it makes the opposition team bowler’s job pretty easy. Probably we need to change the batting order little bit. For the next match the team can be something like this Team: Dhoni, Hayden, Raina, Badrinath, Oram, Joginder, Gony,Balaji,Ntini,Murali,Shadab Jakati (spinner). In my opinion, Albie morkel needs a break. In place of him we can play Ntini who can be our spear head at the top.Ntini and Balaji should open the attack, then the 2 spinners can come. Based on the situation we can use Joginder and Gony. We can also use raina and badrinath as part timers. This combination will give more variety and depth in our bowling department. Coming to batting lineup, Dhoni needs to fire at the top. Just imagine our score in the first 6 overs when the field restrictions are on. When dhoni opens it will give a right and left opening combination.Moreover even a mishit from dhoni will go for a boundary. Based on the fall of wicket, we can send badri or raina in such a way left right combo batsmen are in the middle. Badrinath was not used properly in this season. He is a kind of player who needs some time to settle and then he will fire. But so far he has been used at the end of the innings where you have to hit from the word go. He should be given the job of staying till the end. I hope this combination will give us the much needed VICTORY in the games to come …
Dhoni is a the biggest mother fucker. He has made some blunders in the IPL and i have full faith in him that he will keep this continue. He should be blamed for the loss, if not for all the game then at least the match against DC. I was also a die-hard fan of CSK but the kind of display they are having in this second season of IPL, we have no option but to change the side or just die.

Well, eyebrows raised when we lost the first match to mumbai indians, now we are there yet again! Time to prove the metal our lions are made of.
Haydos and Raina! the sight of these men could churn the stomach of kumble n co. The big question is what if the top order fails? will we deliver the killer punch to the Royal challengers with the lower order and tail wagging? Everyone (including myself) boast of chennai’s top order, but Dhoni still to find form..(he is yet to deliver by the standards of his), Badrinath…we have to admit is no Rahul Dravid atleast interms of consistency, Mike Huss? is he gonna play? is he in form….we yet to see! and tail, just a little too long, Hardly they have scored more runs down at the back like Harbhajan singh or Brett lee. Goni’s big hits have come now as surprises not as match savers! I would be happy if Morkel connects the ball like Yuvi singh …jus like morkie did last season….yet to see him fire except for a coupla lusty blows.
Bowling Jakati, Tyagi, Balaji- go guys! kick some asses!! Morkel chipping in, murali- the wizard will turn it for us.
Though scratchy performances here n there, I am sure the Chennai boys will make it this time. Unlike Delhi, when all vouched for the championship 2009, its not always the perfect that wins, its the performance that day….

I never expected from you my friends that your performance was not good for the semifinals BETTER LUCK NEXT YEAR.
The nightmares came true. The drama unfolded and like I feared in my previous comment, we were lions no doubt but lions with longest tail. Or rather its a small body.
Haydos goin out for a meek 20 odd, and parthiv came good but not good enuf. Dhoni as scratchy as he has always been this season, and now who is gonna get you runs? the rest never did apart frm Raina….hence 146….never enuf….if 1 batsman gets goin in RCB, we are in trouble.
And in bowling, Goni….i dunno which god appeared in Dhoni’s dreams n make him choose Goni over Tyagi. The second and 4 th over of chennai bowling narrated the sorry story of the day well in advance. 2 overs 27 runs for Goni and more importantly advantage Manish pandey and Bangalore.
Will we learn from the mistakes? well if we improve our fielding, if the team promises itself that they would not drop catches especially Mr. Butter fingers like Goni, thankfully no catches came his way in the semi finals, if it shud hav come by, he might have dropped it n kicked them to boundary….
overall, a very disheartened but still believes chennai will come back strong next season.
