Who will be our hero in the semi finals?
Now, all the kids have left the show. Kolkatta Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, Royal challengers bangalore and Deccan Chargers can dream of the IPL trophy now.
Chennai super kings is witnessing another major re shuffle. Remember, with Hayden, we had a great pair of openers and we romped the scene. Things changed while they left and we are yet to recover from the void.
Parthiv patel and fleming did a Okay job, in setting up partnerships, but they were clearly not firing like the Punjab team or the Rajasthan Royals. We currently have the power to attack but is not consistent and miss the tooth many times.
Now the big change. Steven Fleming is leaving back home and we have a “mystery man” replacing us.
Chennai Super Kings will feature a new pair of openers from the IPL semi final onwards. This is great news for the chennai super kings fans. If we can replace the opening pair with someone who will fire his way to glory, we will have a winning team.
Who will it be? Officials will resolve the mystery only hours before the match. We’ll have to wait and see who it is.

Instead of going for anything really fancy,I think Vidyut should open with Parthiv. And, both should go on attack from the beginning.Punjab bowling is a lil over-rated, we can show them why. Pathan & Sreesanth can swing the ball, but this is not cold winter morning in Headingley.We are talking about tropical Mumbai in the evening floodlights. Winning the toss, elect to field first, coz Punjab has a strong batting line up.Just keep hitting till the end if we are batting first. No-fear is the key. Ibeliver Dhoni ’s magic man Joginder should get a chancein place of Balaji who has struggled coming back from injury.

Apparently Kapugedera a sri lankan opening batsmen is a new acquisition and there is speculation he will partner parthiv patel but i think it’s too risky to put him up there. he certainly deserves a go. If our batting line collapses he might be our hero but to put him above Albie Morkel and Suresh Raina isnt logical. I agree with mukesh mishra we should take to the punjab bowlers we have beaten kings XI twice with great batting and it is the key again. I would like to see super kings bat second and to see more yorkers from our bowlers. a score around 180 will be getable in my opinion and if our bowlers can limit punjab to less, we should see super kings in the final against Rahjastan Royals. morkel and raina for massive games and dhoni for a flop.
The new Mumbai pitch suits fast bowler. And, I won’t be surprised if Ntini destroys Kings Xi batting today.I am sure law of averages will catch up with Shaun Marsh.And, the pressure of the occassion will get the young man hopefully.
Ntini should tame Sangakkara & Murali should tame Yuvi and we are into the finals.
We are going to win today ..my gut feeling.

MARSH not well to face nitinis expirience. may be he can t fail the nitini, defa he caught murali. also murali know sangakara & mahela + & -, yuvi not best in this ipl 20t20t to face spring bowl.he only hit face mans.balaji have good expirience.goni well bat 7 bowl morkal well to come good all rounder (not 2ND shane watson) dhoni as a good bats man,badri nath vidyuth patel chamara kapugedara all so handy batsmans,nitini 7 murali allso good bats man in 20t 20t. that mean we are the good team to beat the punjab today

Whatever may happen….You have to realize that Dhoni has been riding on his amazing luck for some months now….
We shouldn’t be surprised to see a thrilling match and see Dhoni maintain his cool to clinch the place in the finals.
